President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko had a phone conversation with Acting Head of the OSCE, Head of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland Didier Burkhalter.
The parties discussed the work of the OSCE Special monitoring mission in Ukraine, particularly the monitoring of the ceasefire regime in the Donbas.
To comply with sustainable ceasefire regime the parties agreed to increase the size and enhance technical equipment of the mission significantly.
Petro Poroshenko gave permission for the OSCE to use UAVs and Didier Burkhalter promised to deliver them to Ukraine in the nearest time.
To ensure strict compliance with the ceasefire regime, the OSCE Head promised to send more professional inspectors to Ukraine who will engage in monitoring of the most problematic areas.
Didier Burkhalter also announced the visit of the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Astrid Thors to Ukraine that will take place next week.
