On November 22, Ambassador of Ukraine Iryna Venediktova visited the University of Lausanne (UNIL) and took part in the dialogue on “The future architecture of the continent: what role does the new European political community play?” The Ambassador reported on Ukraine's European ambitions, the need to integrate into the EU as quickly as possible, NATO accession, the peace formula of the President of Ukraine and security guarantees.
The Ambassador Iryna Venediktova also visited the Foundation's archives, where in particular the personal archives of Jean Monnet, Robert Schumann, Robert Marjolin, François Fontaine, Jacques Van Helmont, Paolo Emilio Taviani, Robert Triffin, Count of Perth and other prominent figures of the European institutions be kept.
During the conversation with the President of the Foundation and the former President of the European Parliament, Patrick Cox, the Ambassador exchanged his views on the reforms needed in Ukraine in the short and medium term.
