Today Ambassador Iryna Venediktova continued the good tradition of briefings for heads of partner countries of Ukraine at the Embassy.

On the occasion of the Day of Dignity and Freedom, colleagues from Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Romania and Slovakia visited the Embassy. Iryna Venediktova familiarized foreign diplomats with the development of the security situation and internal political processes in Ukraine, the initiatives of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy regarding the consolidation of international efforts to repel Russian aggression and the implementation of the agenda of reforms on the path of Euro-Atlantic and European integration of Ukraine.

The Ambassador thanked the heads of diplomatic missions of the partner countries for the help and support of Ukraine in the struggle for independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as the defense of democratic values and norms of international law.

There was a frank conversation about the strengthening of sanctions pressure on the aggressor country, the return to Ukraine of deported Ukrainian children, the implementation of projects in the field of humanitarian demining and support for the functioning of critical infrastructure in the winter period.
