Today, representatives of the Embassy took part in the opening of the special exhibition “Unissued Diplomas,” launched in the lobby of the main building of the University of Bern.

This is not just an exhibition. It tells 17 stories of Ukrainian students whose dreams were torn apart by Russian missiles and bullets. They should now be preparing for exams, falling in love, and building the future of their country. Instead, their diplomas will forever remain unissued, and their names will stand as a symbol of the irreparable loss of an entire generation.

“We are here to bear witness. To remind the world that behind every day of our resistance stand real human lives. These young people gave the most precious thing they had for Ukraine’s right to be free,” it was noted during the opening.
