A delegation of representatives of Ukrainian municipalities visited Switzerland to learn from experience in the field of energy efficiency and sustainable development. Studying Swiss practices will allow Ukrainian communities to implement modern solutions to reduce energy consumption, improve the environmental situation and improve the quality of life of citizens.
The visit was organized within the framework of the project “Energy Efficiency in Municipal Administration: Establishing a Partnership between Ukraine and Switzerland”. The initiative is implemented by DPI Development Partnership International and Econcept (Switzerland) and is funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), with the support of German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) GmbH within the framework of the program “Promoting Energy Efficiency and Implementation of the EU Energy Efficiency Directive in Ukraine”.
Energy efficiency is a step towards environmentally friendly and comfortable cities in Ukraine.
