On December 7, Ambassador Iryna Venediktova took part in the “Dies academicus 2024” celebrations on the occasion of the 190th anniversary of the University of Bern.

During meetings with the leadership of the University of Bern, in particular – the Rector Prof. Virginia Richter, gratitude was expressed for Switzerland’s solidarity and support for the Ukrainian academic community – students, teachers and researchers, who received not only temporary shelter, but also a full opportunity to continue their studies and scientific activities in Switzerland, in particular – the University of Bern.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, plans for the further development of scientific diplomacy in the context of inter-university cooperation were also discussed.
