On 26 May 2026, with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Switzerland, a special concert by the Ukrainian children’s orchestra SYMPHOKIDS from Zaporizhzhia took place at the historic Predigerkirche in Zurich.

This evening became much more than a musical event. It was the voice of Ukrainian children. The voice of Ukraine.

Children from a city that lives every day under the threat of Russian attacks shared music filled with light, talent, dignity, and hope. And this is the true strength of Ukraine.

In his remarks, a representative of the Embassy stressed:
“Ukraine is not only a struggle for freedom. Ukraine is culture, talented children, human dignity, and a light that continues to shine even in the darkest times.”

We sincerely thank conductor Dmytro Mitnyk and all the young musicians of SYMPHOKIDS for their remarkable performance and for representing Ukraine with dignity on the international stage.
