On April 22, a presentation of the charitable initiative Stiftung Ukraine took place in Zurich, aimed at supporting humanitarian, medical, and recovery efforts in Ukraine. The event brought together representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine, Swiss businesses, civil society, and charitable organizations.

During the event, participants discussed opportunities for practical cooperation in the field of humanitarian assistance, particularly support for medical initiatives in frontline regions of Ukraine.

Special attention was given to coordination with Ukrainian partners on the ground in order to ensure effective and targeted delivery of aid.

In this context, testimonies by representatives of the First Volunteer Mobile Hospital named after Pirogov highlighted the challenges of providing medical assistance in frontline conditions.

The Embassy of Ukraine emphasizes the importance of raising international awareness of Ukraine’s urgent humanitarian needs, the active engagement of concerned citizens, and the readiness of Swiss stakeholders to engage in practical cooperation in support of relevant initiatives.
