On April 24, 2026, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Swiss Confederation organized and took part in a meeting between the delegation of the Ukrainian Leadership Academy (ULA) and representatives of the City of Geneva.

As part of the visit, a meeting was held at the City Hall with Mayor Mr. Alfonso Gomez and the Head of International Relations and Protocol, Ms. Vanessa Mengel.

During the meeting, the parties discussed youth leadership development, the importance of democratic values, and the role of international cooperation in strengthening ties between Ukraine and Switzerland.

The importance of youth initiatives for human capital development and support for Ukraine was emphasized. Opportunities for further interregional cooperation between Ukraine and Switzerland were also discussed.

The Embassy of Ukraine expresses its gratitude to the City of Geneva authorities for their hospitality and openness to dialogue with Ukrainian youth.
