On January 30, Ambassador of Ukraine to Swiss Confederation Iryna Venediktova meet the Head of Bilateral Economic Relations Division in State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and Federal Council Delegate for Trade Agreements, Ambassador Erwin Bollinger.

During the meeting were discussed the issues of Switzerland's support for EU sanctions against Russia and other topics related to export controls. Ukrainian Ambassador welcomed the new opportunities for cooperation in the field of humanitarian demining.

Special attention was paid to the issues of Ukrainian-Swiss cooperation aimed at the implementation of Ukraine’s recovery projects in bilateral and multilateral formats. The Swiss Side emphasized its interest in participating in relevant international initiatives and formats to support Ukraine.

The parties also discussed the preparation of the 14th meeting of the Joint Ukrainian-Swiss Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation to take place this year in Switzerland.
