Ambassador of Ukraine Iryna Venediktova and Mayor of Lugano Michele Foletti opened the Days of Ukrainian-Swiss Culture in Ticino.

With the support of the Amicizia dei Popoli association, the Swiss will have the opportunity to see, feel and touch Ukraine for two weeks.

More than 120 exhibits of Ukrainian and Swiss works will be presented at the exhibition. The Lviv Philharmonic, the Swiss Academy of Music, the Lugano Jazz Quartet, will provide musical accompaniment the bands "Trembita of Ukraine" and "Roots of Switzerland".

"Today, we, Ukrainians, need more support and solidarity. At this moment, people are dying in Ukraine; the civilian population is suffering from the destruction of critical infrastructure in cold, dark homes. We call for justice and maintenance of common human values, for which Ukraine is currently fighting," said the Ambassador during the press conference.
