Today, Ukraine celebrates National Flag Day, while Kharkiv marks its City Day.

It is symbolic that on this very day, music performed by young talents from Kharkiv is being heard in Switzerland — the Student Symphony Orchestra of the I. P. Kotliarevskyi Kharkiv National University of Arts.

These days, the orchestra is on a concert tour in Switzerland, introducing local audiences to Ukrainian musical culture and representing one of Kharkiv’s most renowned artistic schools.

For a city that lives under the constant threat of Russian attacks, the opportunity for its young musicians to study, create and perform on international stages carries special significance.

Ukrainian culture continues to resonate far beyond Ukraine, bringing people together and telling the world about our country through music.

Ambassador of Ukraine Iryna Venediktova personally welcomed the young musicians in Switzerland and wished them a successful continuation of their concert tour, inspiring new artistic encounters and new achievements.
