At the invitation of the Federal Department of Finance, Ambassador Iryna Venediktova took part in the Point Zero Forum. The international event aims to facilitate a dialogue on politics and technology in the financial sector.

This is an important platform for updating the Ukrainian agenda in front of foreign and Swiss officials, heads of the Department of Finance, the Swiss National Bank and international investment companies.

At the opening, Head of FDF Karin Keller-Sutter and Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore Heng Swee Keat made it clear that the most important future challenges for the stability of financial markets are geopolitical instability, cyber security and technological development.

A panel on insurance risks, attended by leading Swiss companies Swiss Re and Zurich Insurance, questioned their ability to offer military risk insurance in Ukraine. This issue will be discussed with the Swiss government in the future.

On June 27, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine will hold a separate panel on “Ukrainian Digital Transformation: Digital Government of the Future”.
