Ukrainians defend the right to be Ukrainian on all fronts. The enemy kills and destroys, we continue to fight for our lives and protect our national identity. Because the highest value for us is the human being. Not only is this written in our Constitution, it is enshrined in the hearts of Ukrainians.

The war scattered our compatriots all over the world. But despite the distance, we are connected by language, culture and love for Ukraine.

A special connection with home and support are Ukrainian bookshelves opening around the world under the patronage of Ukraine's First Lady Olena Zelenska.

The Ambassador Iryna Venediktova opened the Ukrainian-language collection in the Kornhaus library on Constitution Day. There are books for children and adults.
