The Embassy participated in the opening and supported the exhibition “The Clock of War”, held at Photobastei Zürich from January 15 to February 22, 2026. The exhibition is based on the project “Ukrainian Photo Diary”, which documents the war in Ukraine and its devastating impact on people’s lives.
The project, founded in 2022 by Swiss photographer Patrick Lüthy, brings together images from professional photographers as well as private individuals, serving as a collective testimony of the criminal Russian aggression through the eyes of those who experience it directly. These photographs are visual evidence of tragic events in contemporary European history and, at the same time, a testament to the resilience of the Ukrainian people, the value of freedom, and the strength of the human spirit.
Spreading truthful information about the war in Ukraine and supporting initiatives like this is of utmost importance. Everyone can contribute—by visiting exhibitions, sharing these stories, and supporting projects and people affected by Russian aggression.
We express our sincere gratitude to Patrick Lüthy and all the photographers who contributed to this project for their principled and courageous work. Special thanks to the choir “Perespiv” for their moving performance, which filled the event with an atmosphere of solidarity with Ukraine.
Patrick Lüthy’s project is a vivid example of international support for the Ukrainian people.
