On March 19-20, a conference was held in Zurich on the topic "Revival and strengthening of Ukrainian science and innovation in support of economic recovery."

The organizers of the conference were the Technical University of Zurich ETH Zürich, the US National Academy of Sciences and the Simons Foundation.

Among the participants of the event were numerous scientists, experts, representatives of government and business circles. The event was opened by the Federal Councilor, head of the Federal Department of Economics affairs, Education and Research, Guy Parmelin.

The two-day workshop focused on efforts to strengthen Ukraine's science and innovation system as part of broader plans for economic recovery and sustainability.

During the welcome speech, Ambassador Iryna Venediktova, in turn, drew the attention of the event participants to the importance of building an educational ecosystem in clear interaction with current needs and prospects in the economic sphere.
