The Ambassador Iryna Venediktova had a meeting with the director of Caritas Switzerland, Peter Lack, and his team.

From the first days of full-scale Russian invasion, Ukrainians felt the help of this organization. Caritas Switzerland implemented initiatives worth CHF 10 million for our country this year, including "winter" help, food and social and psychological support.

Caritas Switzerland is a reliable partner of Caritas Ukraine. Caritas centers in Ukraine were quickly remodeled to meet the needs of internally displaced people. And in Switzerland, the Caritas Market program was launched – discounts of up to 70% for Ukrainians with status “S” on groceries and everyday goods.

We thank Caritas for supporting Ukrainian culture. The organization is the main partner of the charity concert with the participation of the Kharkiv Academic Youth Symphony Orchestra “Slobozhansky” which will be held this June. By supporting Ukraine, Caritas is changing the world for the better. We appreciate all efforts and humanitarian aid and know that there are still many joint projects ahead for the victory of good.
