"Be with me, the sense of victory. A sense of justice. A sense of rhythm", - Serhij Zhadan. 

At the initiative of the Embassy of Ukraine, the multifaceted voice of the writer and public figure Serhij Zhadan was heard in Swiss cities (Basel, Zurich, Lucerne, Lenzburg) this week.

This evening in Switzerland was dedicated to the city of Kharkiv bombed by Russian planes and artillery.

"It is very important that the world does not forget that the war is going on. The future will be decided at the front, educational and cultural institutions cannot stop the war at the front, but today it is worth talking about culture because it brings our victory closer," stressed Zhadan.

Russian aggression turned Kharkiv into a city of closed doors to educational and cultural institutions. Our emotionally colored language and diverse culture should be heard and developed in the world while Ukrainian fighters reclaim our freedom and identity.

The literary evening was organized to raise funds for the reconstruction of the historic building of the Central Scientific Library of Karazin University (one of the biggest university libraries).
