On May 10, Ambassador Iryna Venediktova welcomed our Ziferblat band to the Embassy of Ukraine in Bern. This year, the band will represent Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel.

Ambassador Iryna Venediktova told the band and representatives of the Ukrainian delegation about the establishment of diplomatic relations with Switzerland and their development to the present day. In a lively discussion, the band members were actively interested in the host country and expressed their impressions. The Embassy's diplomats wished our guys inspiration and strength to carry the voice of Ukraine to the world.

Also, with the active support of the Embassy, the Ziferblat band visited the evacuated Mariupol orphanage "Wings of Hope" in St.Gingolph.

The children of the institution and the teachers prepared very carefully for the meeting of the guests: they prepared musical and dance numbers, made a photo zone with wings, tied symbolic bracelets with Ukrainian symbols, baked gingerbread in the form of birds. Representatives of the Ukrainian scout organization in Switzerland - Plast also came to the meeting with the group. The group actively picked up all the children's activities and supplemented them with playing and singing on the guitar. The meeting was held in a very warm and friendly atmosphere.

We hope that this vital and spiritual energy will contribute to the victory of our contestants at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.
