"Elections in times of crisis: challenges and opportunities" - Parliament celebrated the 60th anniversary of Switzerland's accession to the Council of Europe with a conference. The event was attended by the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Tiny Kox and the President of the Venice Commission Claire Bazy-Malaurie, representatives of the Ukrainian and European delegations to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, the Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission of Ukraine Oleg Didenko. The Ukraine question was on the agenda.

A discussion of the conference was dedicated to Ukraine and the challenges and solutions for restoring the electoral process after the end of martial law.

Swiss parliamentarians assured Ukraine's full support on the road to reconstruction and ensuring the will of the Ukrainian people. Elections are the basis of democracy, the values of which we are currently defending on the battlefield.
