We welcome the accession of Liechtenstein to the Enlarged Partial Agreement on the establishment of a Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine.
A total of 25 states have now confirmed their intention to join this important agreement.
The agreement is expected to be adopted during the meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe on May 14–15 in Moldova.
The coalition currently includes 25 states: Ukraine, Austria, Belgium, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Moldova, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
For the first time since the Nuremberg trials, states are jointly and collectively working to ensure accountability for the crime of aggression.
We call on all countries in Europe and around the world to join this important initiative.
