Today, the Embassy had the pleasure of welcoming representatives of Ukrainian municipalities who are in Switzerland on a study visit dedicated to energy efficiency and sustainable development.
Improving energy efficiency at the local level is not only about technology, but also about the quality of life of residents, reducing dependence on external resources and contributing to the green recovery of Ukraine.
The study trip is organized within the framework of the project “Energy Efficiency in Municipal Administration: Establishing a Partnership between Ukraine and Switzerland”. The initiative is implemented by DPI Development Partnership International and Econcept (Switzerland) and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) with the support of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH within the framework of the program “Promoting Energy Efficiency and the Implementation of the EU Energy Efficiency Directive in Ukraine”.
Thank you to our Swiss partners for supporting this important initiative and for their willingness to share their experience with Ukrainian communities!
