A panel discussion on cooperation with the European Union, taking into account international challenges, was held at the University of Fribourg.
The main speaker at the event was EU Ambassador Petros Mavromichalis, who presented the political, economic and security challenges facing the European continent after the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The discussion was attended by the Ambassador of Ukraine Iryna Venediktova, the Rector of the University of Fribourg Katharina Fromm, the Director of the Center for European Studies Natasha Wunsh, EU ambassadors and Swiss scholars. The participants discussed the security situation in Europe and the role of Europe in confronting today's challenges.
The Swiss academic community continues to be an active partner in the dialogue on Ukraine's European future.
