Today, February 22, 2025, in the heart of Bern, from Münsterplatz to Bundesplatz, a solidarity march with Ukraine took place, dedicated to the third anniversary of the full-scale Russian invasion. The event united Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine, who together demonstrated their support in the struggle for peace, freedom, democracy and independence. 2000 participants of the march walked through the central streets of the city with Ukrainian flags and posters calling for peace and justice.
The event was also attended by the Ambassador of Ukraine Iryna Venediktova and the staff of the Embassy, Honorary Consul Andrey Luzhnytsky, representatives of the Ukrainian community, foreign diplomatic corps, the Mayor of Mariupol Vadym Boychenko, Swiss parliamentarians and the public. The speeches of the participants reminded of the price that Ukraine pays every day for its European future, and the need for further international support.
Together we reminded the world: Ukraine continues to fight against the aggressor, and we will not let its heroic resistance be forgotten!
Thank you to everyone who joined this event! Together we are strong, together we bring victory closer!
