The Ambassador Iryna Venediktova met with the Deputy State Secretary, the Head of the Peace and Human Rights Department of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland, Ambassador Simon Geissbuehler and the Deputy Director for Development and Cooperation of Switzerland, Andrea Martina Studer.

During the meeting there was a substantive conversation about aid to Ukraine. Among our priorities for the near future, the following have been singled out: Participation in humanitarian demining projects, by supporting the activities of Swiss companies already operating in Ukraine and within the framework of UN programs; Development of digital Ukraine with the help of the EGAP program and supporting the development of the Diia portal in clear cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

It was also agreed to work out, within the framework of the Superhumans project, the possibilities of Swiss involvement in the rehabilitation of Ukrainians affected by Russian aggression.
