The Ambassador Iryna Venediktova discussed with the Rectorate of the University of Bern, Christian Leumann and Virginia Richter the possibilities of cooperation with Ukrainian universities. The common goal is to rehabilitate the civilian population as quickly as possible and restore the destroyed infrastructure. The focus areas are medicine, ecology and energy.

The University of Bern is a renowned institution with almost 190 years of history, which brings together 8 faculties and 150 institutions from various disciplines.

Since the beginning of the all-out Russian aggression, 27 Ukrainians have been working here. And for 49 of our students, the University of Bern organized a special preparatory year with the opportunity to improve their language skills.

The Ambassador thanked the university for the support of our citizens and for their willingness to participate in projects to rebuild and develop our country.
