At the invitation of the Club Suisse de la Presse in Geneva, Ambassador Iryna Venediktova took part in a special panel on the risks of a possible escalation of the Russian war against Ukraine. The Club Swiss de la Presse is one of the leading centers of journalism, whose members are representatives of mass media, government agencies, companies, international organizations, and professional circles.

The Ambassador stressed threats, war crimes, nuclear threats, and the fact that Russia continues to crush Ukrainians and terrorize the whole world.

When asked about the conditions for establishing peace, the Ambassador replied that this would be possible only through the victory of Ukraine and the implementation of the 10 points of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's peace formula. A strong and united world, support and widespread aid are the keys to accelerating these processes.

The Ambassador drew the attention of the participants of the event to the need to counteract the information aggression of the Russian Federation due to the dissemination of propaganda. The Russians also penetrated deeply into Swiss society. This is the threat of Russian narrative influence and the mass legitimacy of Russian aggression through dirty information methods.

The Ambassador thanked the director of the Club Suisse de la Presse Pierre Rütschi for the opportunity to present Ukraine's position in such an important debate.
