On 9–10 February 2026, the OSCE Conference “Combating Anti-Semitism: Addressing Challenges of Intolerance and Discrimination” was held in St. Gallen, Switzerland, organized within the framework of the Swiss OSCE Chairpersonship.
During the Conference, participants discussed current challenges in combating anti-Semitism and other forms of intolerance, particularly in the context of the growing incidence of hate speech and radicalization across the OSCE region.
The Embassy of Ukraine in the Swiss Confederation ensured Ukraine’s participation and proper representation at the event.
In its statement, the Ukrainian delegation informed participants about national measures undertaken to combat anti-Semitism and emphasized the inadmissibility of Russia’s manipulation of historical memory in the context of its ongoing war against Ukraine.
Ukraine reaffirmed its commitment to a zero-tolerance policy toward anti-Semitism and to the protection of the rights of national communities, even amid Russia’s full-scale aggression.
The Conference was the first of four thematic events planned under the Swiss Chairpersonship and aimed at strengthening the joint efforts of OSCE participating States in combating anti-Semitism and other forms of intolerance.
