On 8 February, the Embassy of Ukraine took part in the charity concert “Chants et musiques en faveur des enfants orphelins de guerre de la région de Kharkiv”, organised by the association Solidarity Broye–Ukraine, which took place at the Aula du CO de Domdidier.

The event was a strong expression of solidarity with Ukraine and support for children from the Kharkiv region who have suffered as a result of the full-scale war.

Before the concert, guests had the opportunity to see an ambulance that had been shelled by Russian forces in Kharkiv during a humanitarian mission. The Embassy of Ukraine expresses its gratitude to Franck Labourey for his support for Ukraine and his humanitarian activities.

The concert featured performances by the band Malanka and the children’s choir Les Baladins de Belmont-Broye.

The Embassy of Ukraine thanks the association Solidarity Broye–Ukraine, the organisers, performers, and guests of the event for their support of Ukraine.

A symbolic gesture of solidarity was the presentation of a clock to the Embassy — a sign of support and unity between the Ukrainian and Swiss peoples.

Such initiatives are vital for strengthening humanitarian cooperation and mutual understanding between our countries.
