Ambassador of Ukraine Iryna Venediktova held a constructive meeting with the Director of the Federal Office of Culture Carine Bachmann. During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues related to cultural cooperation between Ukraine and Switzerland, emphasizing the importance of strengthening bilateral relations in the field of culture.

Particular attention was paid to the support and preservation of Ukrainian cultural heritage, which is an integral part of the world cultural heritage. The Swiss side expressed its readiness to assist Ukraine in its efforts to preserve and promote its rich cultural heritage, as well as to provide financial support for the protection of movable Ukrainian cultural values.

The parties to the meeting emphasized that culture plays a key role in strengthening mutual understanding between peoples and contributes to the development of friendly relations between countries. It was agreed to further cooperate in the implementation of joint cultural projects, exchange of experience and information, as well as support for initiatives aimed at the preservation and restoration of cultural objects of historical significance for both countries. The meeting was an important step towards deepening the cultural dialogue between Ukraine and Switzerland, opening up new prospects for interaction and joint initiatives in the field of culture.
