Ambassador of Ukraine Iryna Venediktova discussed with the Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party faction Damien Cottier the key issues for Ukraine of unblocking the re-export of military materials by Switzerland and support for the creation of a Special International Tribunal on the crime of Russian aggression.

Ambassador Iryna Venediktova separately noted the importance for the Ukrainian side of the recognition by the official Berne Holodomor of 1932-1933 as an act of genocide of the Ukrainian people by Russia.

A clear assurance was received from the Swiss side that the Swiss Parliament is working on additional mechanisms to support Ukraine. Ukraine is counting on the necessary and quick decisions of the Parliament in two weeks during the regular session.
