On the eve of the 35th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence, representatives of the Embassy joined the “Living Chain of Peace” initiative, which brought together the Ukrainian community and friends of Ukraine in the heart of Basel.

The participants lined up along the Wettstein Bridge, forming a symbolic living chain as a sign of solidarity with Ukraine and the Ukrainian people’s aspiration for a just and lasting peace.

We sincerely thank the Ukrainian community in Basel, the organizers, and all friends of Ukraine who joined this initiative and continue to stand by Ukraine.
