On 2 February, at the invitation of the Canton of Fribourg, representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Swiss Confederation took part in a meeting between the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Council and President of the Ukrainian Association of District and Regional Councils, Tetiana Yehorova-Lutsenko, and the State Councillor of the Canton of Fribourg, Jean-François Steiert.

The event took place with the support and participation of the representative of the French region Grand Est, Christian Debève.

During the meeting, the parties discussed possible areas of interregional cooperation between Kharkiv Region and the Canton of Fribourg. Particular attention was given to the exchange of experience in the field of education, as well as the development of partnership relations between the regions.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed on further coordinated steps aimed at strengthening and expanding cooperation.
