The Embassy of Ukraine in the Swiss Confederation expresses its sincere gratitude to the organisers and the entire creative team of the music-theatre performance “UnKrieg: Chaos und Ordnung” in Baden. The Embassy had the honour to take part in this important cultural event, which became a powerful artistic testimony to the experiences of Ukrainians who were forced to leave their homes because of the war.

This performance is not only about music and theatre. It reflects the reality of today and the challenges faced by Ukrainian refugees in Switzerland: personal experiences, professional difficulties, the search for a place in a new society, integration, and life under new circumstances.

Everyone present in the audience was able to experience their own emotional journey. For the Swiss audience, it provided an opportunity to better understand the inner stories and experiences of Ukrainians that often remain unseen. Fear, uncertainty, and at the same time the strength of people who had to flee the war were conveyed through music, words, and stage performance.

The Embassy sincerely thanks the organisers of the project, in particular director Natalia Blok, musician Jörg Köppl, all artists, musicians, partners, and the venue who made this event possible.

Through art, a space for dialogue, understanding, and empathy emerges — values that are especially important today.
