The Embassy held a meeting with Nataliia Kholchenkova, Head of the Department of International Relations and Investments of the Chernihiv City Council, and Oleksii Sikun, Adviser to the Deputy Mayor for Strategic Development and Infrastructure Modernisation of the City of Chernihiv.

The Ukrainian delegation arrived in Bern to participate in the Davos Baukultur Alliance initiative, within which Chernihiv was selected as the next pioneering city.

During the meeting, the parties discussed promising areas of cooperation as well as opportunities for support that the Embassy could help facilitate for Chernihiv, particularly in the energy and humanitarian sectors.

Supporting Ukrainian cities and their sustainable recovery remains one of the Embassy’s important priorities.
