On February 27, the Ambassador of Ukraine Iryna Venediktova visited the Institute of Architecture, Wood and Construction (City of Biel) and took part in the opening of the new educational program «Certificate Continuing Education - Rebuilding of Ukraine».

There were interesting discussions and exchanges of views with the rector of the Bern University of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Sebastian Wörwag, initiator of the program, Prof. Thomas Rohner, representatives of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs and the Office for Migration Policy, business representatives.

Launched with the support of the Swiss governmental structures and the Embassy of Ukraine, the program is a unique example of a Ukrainian reconstruction initiative, where Ukrainian women staying temporarily in Switzerland are given the opportunity to gain new qualifications, theoretical knowledge and practical to acquire skills and in the future will guide the process of reconstruction of Ukraine.

We welcome and support certain efforts and practical steps aimed at achieving the goals of Ukraine's reconstruction.
