The Ambassador Iryna Venediktova held a meeting with a member of the government of Canton Basel-Stadt, head of the Department of Economy, Social Sphere and Environment Kaspar Sutter.

During the conversation, the parties discussed cooperation with the canton of Basel regarding the development of Swiss projects in Ukraine and ways of further cooperation.

The focus was on involving the business of Basel, as a center of pharmacology and biotechnology, in the implementation of initiatives in Ukraine.

A separate topic of conversation was the possibility of establishing a partnership between Basel and one of the Ukrainian cities.
