On April 8, 2024, the Ambassador of Ukraine, Iryna Venediktova, congratulated David Karl Yandrasits on his appointment as the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in the city of Vaduz (Principality of Liechtenstein).

During the meeting, the parties discussed the range of consular functions and duties of the newly appointed Honorary Consul of Ukraine.

Ambassador Iryna Venediktova noted: "We are doing everything possible to become closer and more effective for our compatriots abroad, especially in wartime conditions. Therefore, the appointment of a new Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Liechtenstein should contribute not only to the development of friendly relations between the two countries in the political, economic and cultural spheres, but also to improve the situation with the protection of the rights of Ukrainian citizens."

Honorary consuls of Ukraine in Switzerland, Mr. Andrey Lushnycky and Dr. Joseph Bollag, also took part in the event. As part of the general coordination discussion, Ambassador Iryna Venediktova discussed with the Honorary Consuls of Ukraine ways of further cooperation in ensuring the national interests of Ukraine in bilateral relations with the Swiss Confederation and the Principality of Liechtenstein, as well as protecting the rights and interests of Ukrainian citizens.
