On June 7, the city of Biel/Bienne hosted the charity run “Hurkit Run” as part of an international initiative aimed at supporting Ukrainian defenders.

Participants joined the run not only for sport, but also for a shared purpose — to help Ukraine’s defenders. Contributions from participants and partners will support the purchase of vehicles and robotic systems for military units currently defending Ukraine against Russian aggression.

The event was attended by representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine in Switzerland, members of the Ukrainian community, civil society organizations, and friends of Ukraine from across Switzerland.

Such initiatives are an important reminder that support for Ukraine remains strong far beyond its borders and that international solidarity continues to transform into concrete assistance.
