Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha:
“I met with my Swiss counterpart and the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ignazio Cassis.
I briefed my counterpart on the situation on the battlefield and our ongoing efforts to advance a comprehensive and lasting peace.
We discussed ways to further strengthen Ukraine’s cooperation with the OSCE and to keep Russia’s aggression against Ukraine among the key issues on the Organization’s agenda.
I stressed the importance of the OSCE’s continued engagement in documenting Russia’s crimes and ensuring accountability for those responsible. I thanked Switzerland for its efforts during its Chairpersonship aimed at keeping these priorities at the forefront of the Organization’s attention.
We also focused on Ukraine’s preparations for the winter period, Switzerland’s energy support, and the situation in the Black Sea amid continued Russian attacks on ports, energy facilities and other critical infrastructure.
I am grateful to Switzerland for its unwavering support and practical contribution to strengthening Ukraine’s resilience.”
