On 27 October, Ambassador of Ukraine to Switzerland Iryna Venediktova met with Nathalie Chuard, Director of the Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance (DCAF).

During the meeting, the parties discussed DCAF’s activities in Ukraine, support for security sector reform, and the importance of democratic oversight and the rule of law amid Russia’s ongoing aggression.

Particular attention was paid to the development of Ukraine’s Military Ombudsman institution and international cooperation in strengthening democratic governance, good governance, and compliance with international law in the security and defence sector.

The Ambassador expressed her gratitude to DCAF for its longstanding cooperation with Ukrainian institutions.

Ukraine highly values its partnership with DCAF and looks forward to further developing this cooperation.
