The Ambassador thanked for the solidarity with Ukraine. State Secretary Christine Schraner not only takes care of Ukrainians at state level, but her family also opened the doors to a girl from Kharkiv.

From March 2022, protection status S for Ukrainians came into force in Switzerland. The status provides for the possibility of work, language courses, education for children and health insurance.

The parties discussed additional adjustment and rehabilitation options for Ukrainians. Switzerland expands it on different levels. For example, enabling Ukrainians to acquire new knowledge to help rebuild their homeland after the war.
