State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) once again organized a Brown Bag Lunch on Ukraine. This year's theme of the event was "3 years of Russian military aggression: how can Switzerland contribute to the reconstruction of Ukraine?"

In his welcoming speech, the First Secretary of the Embassy, Taras Antoshchak, thanked Switzerland for its support and noted the importance of continuing joint actions and coordinated efforts to achieve lasting peace in Ukraine.

The event was dedicated to discussing the challenges and opportunities for the reconstruction of Ukraine. The war caused enormous human losses and significant destruction of the infrastructure and economy of our country.

Key points of the discussion:

- Switzerland confirmed its commitment to supporting Ukraine by allocating 1.5 billion Swiss francs for 2025-2028 for the reconstruction of the country.

- Jacques Gerber, the newly appointed Federal Council Delegate for Ukraine, presented the new Ukraine Support Program 2025-2028, within which 500 million francs are allocated to involve the private sector in the reconstruction process.

- The ways of effective participation of Swiss business in the reconstruction of Ukraine, as well as the challenges and prospects of this cooperation, were discussed.
