On 23 October, representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine in Switzerland met with the Ukrainian team competing in the 55th World Military Orienteering Championship (CISM), held in Nyon, Switzerland, from 19 to 25 October 2026.
🇺🇦 The Ukrainian team brings together some of the country’s leading military orienteering athletes, who are demonstrating a high level of athletic preparation, endurance, skill and unwavering determination on the international stage.
During a warm and friendly meeting, Embassy representatives had the opportunity to speak with the athletes, hear their impressions of the competition, learn about their sporting experience and discuss the challenges they face while representing Ukraine internationally.
The participation of Ukrainian service members in international sporting competitions is not only an opportunity to demonstrate athletic skill, endurance and strength of spirit, but also an important expression of Ukraine’s presence in the global sporting community.
💙💛 We are proud of our athletes and thank each of them for their dedication and for once again reminding the world of the resilience and strength of the Ukrainian spirit.
We wish our team every success and many more achievements!
