On 18 August, a meeting was held with the participation of Ambassador of Ukraine to Switzerland Iryna Venediktova and Serhii Fedorenko, Acting Chairman of the Management Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine, together with Jacques Gerber, Delegate of the Swiss Federal Council for Ukraine, and representatives of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).

The participants discussed further strengthening Ukrainian-Swiss cooperation in the energy sector, including opportunities for implementing joint projects and supporting Ukraine’s energy sector.

Particular attention was paid to Ukraine’s preparations for the upcoming heating season, strengthening energy security and enhancing the resilience of Ukraine’s energy system.

Practical cooperation with international partners is an important part of Ukraine’s preparations for winter and efforts to ensure the stable functioning of critical infrastructure.
