The Swiss Media Forum 2023 has been bringing together leaders from media, communication, business and politics for 12 years. The top topics of the forum this year were the war against Ukraine, combating disinformation and propaganda, the use of artificial intelligence and challenges in journalism.

The messages of Ambassador Iryna Venediktova are unchanged: Ukraine is convinced that Switzerland will not stop with help, solidarity and decisive steps. Permission to re-export weapons is very important to us. And we hope that the federal government, as the cradle of the Geneva Conventions and international humanitarian law, will actively contribute to bringing war criminals to justice as quickly as possible. Supporting the sanctions against the aggressor without allowing them to be relaxed is also crucial. And it's time to finally ban and stop Russian propaganda.

The Ambassador thanked all the journalists who objectively and courageously covered the events at the front, the Russian attacks on the civilian population and their other horrific crimes, our struggle and the problems we must face.

The truth is our combined power to stop aggression and attempts to destroy the world order.
