On 9 December 2025, a public lecture by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Switzerland, Iryna Venediktova, and Professor Ulrich Schmid took place at SQUARE at the University of St. Gallen. The event became an important platform for political, economic, and academic elites to engage in dialogue about Ukraine.

The discussion developed into a wide-ranging conversation about the challenges facing Ukraine, as well as the areas in which international solidarity can be decisive.

The Ambassador emphasized the importance of joint efforts in reconstruction projects, highlighting the strength of partnerships and the tangible impact of international support.
