The Ambassador Iryna Venediktova together with the children planted sunflower seeds as a sign of the desire to grow and act together with the Motherland and for its sake. As a sunflower turns its head to the sun, so we Ukrainians turn to our Motherland, wherever we are.

This is how they symbolically joined the 7th Marathon of Responsibility of the Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation for the Day of Children's Protection. While they are growing up, they promised to do good and useful things with their children and live according to the principles of the Declaration of a Responsible Person: to speak the truth, to learn and develop talents, to be free.

Today, our children are the object of the enemy's attacks, because this is how he tries to deprive us of our tomorrow. To protect them, to give them a happy childhood, to raise them as human beings is the duty of all of us. And every grain of love, goodness, patriotism and care that we lay in future generations is the foundation of our future.
