On November 16, Ambassador of Ukraine Iryna Venediktova gave a welcome speech during the first online conference on the reconstruction of Ukraine organized by the newly created Swiss-Ukrainian Reconstruction Agency (SURA). During the speech, the importance of strengthening Ukraine's support programs on the part of the Swiss Confederation was emphasized.

During the event, the director of the Department of Economic Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Lyudmila Yenina, highlighted the current challenges and needs for the recovery of Ukraine. The State Secretariat for Economic Affairs also informed about the status of the package of measures of Switzerland and financial support for the recovery of Ukraine.

The SURA agency is a joint initiative of the Ukrainian-Swiss Business Association (USBA) and the Joint Chamber of Commerce of Switzerland - Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the South Caucasus (Joint Chamber of Commerce - JCC).
