On July 11, the Ambassador Iryna Venediktova made an official visit to the canton of Zurich.

The Canton was one of the first since the beginning of the full-scale Russian war against Ukraine to provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine in the form of a batch of ventilators for the treatment of the seriously injured and continues to support us in the future.

The Ambassador held a meeting with the president of the canton Mario Fehr, the head of the Department of Finance Ernst Stocker and the head of the Department of Justice and Internal Affairs Jacqueline Fehr.

According to the results of the conversation, the parties emphasized that interregional cooperation has significant potential and it is necessary to jointly develop it, in particular, in the medical field and the agrarian direction.

More than 12000 Ukrainians found social protection in the canton of Zurich.

The Ambassador thanked the representatives of the canton for their efforts to integrate our citizens and create proper conditions for them in Switzerland.
